Leisure facilities are plentiful and varied in and around Grantown-on-Spey: We are happy to provide suggestions for days out, with maps if you need them. Activities include golf, fishing on the River Spey, bird-watching, photography and hiking...or simply taking in the beautiful scenery.
On the nearby Whisky Trail you can visit distilleries and sample a variety of excellent Scottish whiskies.
There are plenty of good places locally for meals and snacks and we can provide tasty packed lunches on request.
The Dulaig is an ideal touring base for those who wish to explore and enjoy the dramatic beauty of the Highlands of Scotland. Aviemore is only 14 miles , the Moray Coast less than 25 miles and even the west coast is easily accessible from here - Ullapool, for example, is only 88 miles away.
