Gordon and I had a wonderful time on 12 May 2015 at the AA Bed and Breakfast Awards 2015. Here we are (centre) pictured with AA's Giovanna Grossi and the CEO of Eviivo, receiving our Certificate as The Dulaig was a Finalist in the "Friendliest B&B of the Year" for Britain and Ireland. We also received this lovely engraved decanter and we feel honoured to have been nominated by the AA Hotel Inspector.
We are delighted to let the news out....we are Finalists in the AA Bed and Breakfast Award for the Friendliest B&B of the Year 2015! The Award takes in AA B&Bs from Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland.
We were nominated by a Hotel Inspector who stayed with us anonymously and heard about our selection a few weeks ago. It came as a complete surprise and we were asked by the AA to keep the news under wraps until the winner is announced in London on 12 May 2015......but when we read abou...
Gordon and I had a spectactular walk on Ben Rinnes on Easter Sunday. This mountain, 841 metres high, dominates the Moray skyline. It is about half an hour's drive from The Dulaig and as you can see the views from the top are wonderful.
You can see an album of photos from our walk on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/thedulaigbandb.We are more than happy to provide suggestions for walks, maps and guidance to our guests who wish to walk whether on Ben Rinnes or anywhere e...

This is the view through a special solar filter. You can see a sunspot at around the 10 o'clock position on the sun.
It was a real treat to witness this very special event, e...
We have some new hens at The Dulaig, two Rhode Island Reds which laid these pale cream eggs, and two Crested Cream Legbars. The first ever egg laid by Legbar Hyacinth is this beautiful little blue one.
The very large dark brown eggs are from two of our Cuckcoo Marans. No matter the shell colour we can promise you our eggs all taste delicious!
