We have six inches of snow on the ground outside but are feeling cosy and warm inside, especially in the light of our lovely Christmas Tree. Many of the decorations have been given to us by family and friends, including guests, over several years so every year when we decorate our Christmas Tree it brings back so many happy memories.
We hope you like it.
We were very worried this week when Amber, our lovely 18 year old cat, had to have an operation on his teeth. The vet warned us that because of his age and other health problems there was a real risk that he may not survive the operation.
We are delighted to say that Amber did make it through and he is now eating us out of house and home!
Welcome home, Amber boy!!!
Our guests at The Dulaig know how passionate we are about providing great breakfasts.
I have just made the latest batch of our own muesli, and here it is.
This variety is full of plump and gorgeous fruits, Scottish cereals, nuts, dates, crunchy seeds....and the special finishing touch is a scattering of delicious pecans, oven-roasted in maple syrup. It is delicious, and even better served with our home-made yogurt.
Anyone fancy breakfast at The Dulaig??????
