Don't tell Peter Pheasant!!!
This spectacular bird was spotted by our guests Annette and David Chellingsworth when they visited Glenlivet Distillery.
A quick look in our guide to birds book told us he is a Reeves’s Pheasant. These birds, quite rare in the UK, can grow to over 2.1 metres long and have been mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest natural tail feather of any bird!
We have named him Bruce and we think he is particularly handsome….just don’t tell our Peter Pheasant!!comments powered by Disqus
