Solar Eclipse over The Dulaig
We were very lucky in Grantown-on-Spey to see great views of the partial solar eclipse today. Having had cloudy, rainy skies all morning we were delighted when the skies cleared just before the eclipse started - and even happier that, as if by magic, the clear skies lasted until the end of the eclipse.
This is the view through a special solar filter. You can see a sunspot at around the 10 o'clock position on the sun.
It was a real treat to witness this very special event, especially as there will not be another one here until 2026!comments powered by Disqus
