We opened The Dulaig garden to the public today as part of Strathspey Opens Gardens event to raise funds for two local charities, Grantown Museum and Riding for the Disabled.
Even though we were busy all day with visitors enjoying our garden the wild ducks who love lazing on our lawn did not leave. We did have a little sign up letting visitors know about our five little ducklings and we are delighted to say the wee ones were not at all disturbed by all the excitement.

We were astonished recently to see on one of our wildlife cameras that we have a family of FOUR otter making visits to our garden at The Dulaig.
We have known and filmed many times a single otter coming to a particular spot here, but seeing this family blew our socks off!
The Times Weekend section today has a great full-page article "Whisky Galore in the Scottish Highlands". We are delighted that The Dulaig is mentioned in the "Need to know" section about places to stay when touring the Whisky Trail!
It has been our absolute pleasure to share our home, garden, love of Scotland and of food, with guests over the past 14 years. The experience of running our B&B exceeded our wildest dreams however we - Carol, Gordon (& The Cake Fairy) - have hung up our aprons for the last time.
Thank you to the wonderful guests from all over the world who have stayed with us. You have given us so many special memories which we will always treasure. Thank you too, everyone else who has supported us: your confidence in us was appreciated more than words can say.
