Our visit to Ballindalloch Distillery
We had a lovely visit recently to Ballindalloch Distillery, just 16 miles from The Dulaig. Scotland's first Single Estate Distillery, Ballindalloch is built in the restored ruins of an old farm steading on the Ballindalloch Estate. The craftsmanship is obvious both in the distilling and in the restoration of the buildings - just look at this lovely old lock on the restored spirit safe.  Although it will be some years before the whisky will be ready to drink you can book an appointment a...

We had a great day at the 2015 AA Bed and Breakfast Awards!
Gordon and I had a wonderful time on 12 May 2015 at the AA Bed and Breakfast Awards 2015. We are delighted to let the news out....we are Finalists in the AA Bed and Breakfast Award for the Friendliest B&B of the Year 2015! Ben Rinnes walk
Gordon and I had a spectactular walk on Ben Rinnes on Easter Sunday. This mountain, 841 metres high, dominates the Moray skyline. It is about half an hour's drive from The Dulaig and as you can see the views from the top are wonderful.   You can see an album of photos from our walk on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/thedulaigbandb.We are more than happy to provide suggestions for walks, maps and guidance to our guests who wish to walk whether on Ben Rinnes or anywhere e...

Closing

The Dulaig B&B is now closed.

It has been our absolute pleasure to share our home, garden, love of Scotland and of food, with guests over the past 14 years. The experience of running our B&B exceeded our wildest dreams however we - Carol, Gordon (& The Cake Fairy) - have hung up our aprons for the last time.

Thank you to the wonderful guests from all over the world who have stayed with us. You have given us so many special memories which we will always treasure. Thank you too, everyone else who has supported us: your confidence in us was appreciated more than words can say.

Warmest Wishes to All,
Carol, Gordon..and The Cake Fairy x
