The Dulaig in Abernethy Open Gardens Day 2014

Posted on

We are very pleased to have been invited to open The Dulaig garden to the public on 13 July this year as part of the Abernethy Open Gardens Day.

This very popular event is run by Ian and Eric at Auchendean Lodge. Funds raised this year will go to the restoration of Castle Roy, an 11th century fortress at nearby Nethy Bridge.

Tickets cost £6, allowing admission to about 10 local gardens, and can be bought locally e.g. at "Ewe and Me" in Grantown-on-Spey. For more information please contact Ian at gardens@auchendean.com.

We do hope we see you here on the day, and meanwhile we are weeding for Scotland!!!

The Dulaig B&B is now closed.

It has been our absolute pleasure to share our home, garden, love of Scotland and of food, with guests over the past 14 years. The experience of running our B&B exceeded our wildest dreams however we - Carol, Gordon (& The Cake Fairy) - have hung up our aprons for the last time.

Thank you to the wonderful guests from all over the world who have stayed with us. You have given us so many special memories which we will always treasure. Thank you too, everyone else who has supported us: your confidence in us was appreciated more than words can say.

Warmest Wishes to All,
Carol, Gordon..and The Cake Fairy x
