Weather Station at The Dulaig

Posted on

All Scots are fascinated about the weather. We are no different and here at The Dulaig we have just installed a weather station. Soon we will be able to see all sorts of facts about what the weather is doing.  Surprisingly to most people, our town #Grantown-on-Spey in #Cairngorms National Park is one of the driest places in the whole of the UK.  This - and the fact we are one of the coldest places - mean we also have virtually no midges as compared to other places in the Highlands!

Here is a link to the weather station which gives some idea of what is going on today - Brrrrrr....!!!

The Dulaig B&B is now closed.

It has been our absolute pleasure to share our home, garden, love of Scotland and of food, with guests over the past 14 years. The experience of running our B&B exceeded our wildest dreams however we - Carol, Gordon (& The Cake Fairy) - have hung up our aprons for the last time.

Thank you to the wonderful guests from all over the world who have stayed with us. You have given us so many special memories which we will always treasure. Thank you too, everyone else who has supported us: your confidence in us was appreciated more than words can say.

Warmest Wishes to All,
Carol, Gordon..and The Cake Fairy x
